Who is going to PRGE 2016?

Ill likely go and set up a booth or share one. Ive never attended a gaming convention. Just a few comic cons. Im imagining they are similar of course.

Rev, one thing that is always bugging me about you is that, next to your name, it always says you are offline. You come on, make a thread/post/reply... yet, I never catch the exact moment when you're online. It always says offline. How the heck do you do that???

You either have to have 2000+ posts or be a subscriber, when you are either a button comes up on the main panel that says "incognito". Once you push that it makes you appear offline and it allows you into the "special" sections like subscriber only and 3D chat rooms.

Why would you want to appear offline? You should want others to know when you're online. This makes no sense to me.

Incognito is a required feature on all US based forums to abide by the 2013 "Anti Stalking Safety" initiative. It doesn't have to be available to everyone just as long as it's available in some form.

Forums are not realtime chat. I find it a bit creepy that people even pay attention to that, to be honest.

 

Besides, I leave my computer up 24 hours a day with atariage open in at least one tab. When I am "online"? The browser has no concept of when I'm idle or not.

As for PRGE, I'm going to try like crazy to go again. It was a blast and we only had a half dozen people from this section attend.

 

Rev, it's very much like a comic convention. Hordes of people wandering around dealer tables, some very professional, some just random shit with hand-written price tags, and everything in between. I've already thought that if anyone here hosts a booth, and wants some volunteer help for a few hours, I'll probably toss my hat in the ring. I miss being a dealer. But I just don't have enough energy to do a whole show anymore.

I will be there. I predict this will be a huge Inty show with possibly a number of new releases. This will be even bigger than CGE 2012 as far as Inty presence is concerned. Hopefully many of us are able to attend as we'll definitely be looking to set up a couple of get togethers and who knows maybe even another group Intellivisionaries recording session? Fingers crossed. I enjoyed getting VD with Freewheel and Lathe and their wives this time around and look forward to doing so again. 😂

I have never gone yet, but after seeing the 2015 show with AA attending, I would really like to to go to 2016 PRGE. Maybe I will, with some 5200 representation too.

I have an actual trade show booth, a 10 foot pop up. So if we want to get together and DISPLAY our wears I can print up some graphics, bring some Intellivisions and we can have our own party.

I've already booked my vacation ..... ummmmmm .. it IS going to be the weekend of Oct 15 and 16 right? I hope so.
