I think I have mentioned this product about a BILLION times here on AA and no-one has ever said they use, taken up my suggestion to use it or anything...

I love Antic 4 Editor from Calimari, but ENVISION PC is awesome, sooo powerful!!!

I've used it and have it on my PC. I haven't touched since I got the REAL envision. I think mentioned this a number of times too. I don't know if it was here though.

The program looks neat (tried it before), but when i wan to design antic 4 character, it's a little more dificult, because you have to 'put' the color bit's by yourself....or can this easier ?

:D sure guys... when i saw the 8bit envision it reminds me that we have talked about this... but i have tons of tools... and you forgot about them... but when you suddenly think of map design etc...and you surf the net and you find this...even the pc tool... you forgot about the past...

that's why it is really necessary to have a webside dedicated for homebrewers and having all necessary nice tools to develope...not just assemblers as they are standard...but for a game you need as well gfx, converting, font, map & sound tool... not to mention the own written tools...or the different packers

hve

ps. maybe i'll put the stuff on my website as well...

I bought Envison from Antic back in the day - so have had the original for well over fifteen years.

What is great about the PC version is that its a FAST and stable, and does not require the use of an emulator, but runs nativley on my PC.

It spews out data directly onto my PC HD which my A8 toochain can use easily, I tend to use NO data in any native A8 formats.

As to having to use bit pairs on the font generation - yeah its a pain that ceased to be an issue back in about 1981 - since all the font editors worked that way :)
