I'm just trying to understand the logic behind Rev costing himself extra shipping money. For my order, I feel that he paid more money to ship than he had to.

if also the international shipments have been in multiple packages, I feel Rev paid MUCH more money to ship than he had to.

 

Everything happens for a reason, and in this case I'm sure Rev has six of one good reason, half a dozen of another good one.

Remember when they were first for sale you could only buy one, then it was changed to more, maybe your original order of one was shipped along with second order for more? Ie human error?

Number Jumble doesn't require the ECS in any way, correct? I fired it up today and was surprised that I could play it with no issues. Reading on the BSR site, it looks like the keyboard was used only for scratchpad calculations. Does the original game make use of the extra ECS RAM, and if so, is there onboard RAM on the cart?

 

Also tried out Brickout, which (I was intrigued to see) uses the descending-blocks mechanic that Nintendo later used in their Breakout clone Alleyway. Didn't realize that Takeover was 2P-only, I'll have to pull out my Intellivision II since my main Intellivision has a dead controller port.

The idiom "six of one, half a dozen of the other" means that two alternatives are equivalent or indifferent; it doesn't matter which one we choose.

 

The actual saying is 6 to one, half a dozen to another, meaning one person calls it 6, and another would call it half a dozen. different points of view of the same thing.

 

The urban dictionary say it like Rev, but I do not quite get that. If you have 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, don't you have 12?

Pretty funny that Number Jumble uses sprites from Tower of Doom, BTW. IIRC it was the Hydra sprite that shows up, sometimes at super-size.
