Apparently Vectrex homebrews were once delivered inside Intellivision carts.

Yep, only thing is a good chunk of the bottom of the Inty cart had to be trimmed in order to clear the edge connector, which is much taller on the Vectrex vs. the Inty. :-)

Played a Vectrex for the first time at the Pittsburgh Gaming and Pinball Expo this year. I found the display mesmerizing...one of these days I'll get one...

Pretty cool, John D is the man! Too bad he's not active anymore. Anyways, thanks for the pics, Darrin. I never saw close-up pics of one. That is the true definition of "homebrew" if I ever saw it. :-) I wonder what the PCB looks like..

Yeah, but early Vectrex homebrew was delivered in plastic clamshell cases, which collectors here would piss & moan about because it's "not as authentic as Mattel-style gatefold cardboard boxes".
