Atari 2600A has missing vertical sections of video

I recently acquired a Darth Vader 2600A and some games. I cleaned all the cartridge contacts with isopropyl until no more gunk came off, then I hooked everything up and got ready for the big power-on, and...oh no! Video problems! The display is missing entire vertical sections, as you can see in the attached screenshots of Breakout and Jungle Hunt.

 

Any ideas as to what's going on here?

I'll guess TIA has failed if the games actually play that way.

It's looking more and more like the TIA...just discovered that the paddle controllers don't work.

 

Are there any other components that might have caused the TIA to go bad that I should replace along with the TIA?

For starters, I'd replace the voltage regulator (7805). If it fails it can take IC's with it and I replace it on any system that needs an IC. Those waves on your Jungle Hunt screen look like an overheating regulator.

Wouldn't hurt to replace the green chicklet cap next to the regulator as well.

Don't Change ICs.

Don't Turn ON Console Again Before Resolving The Problem !!!

The Black Vertical Video Pattern In Picture1 is Same As Picture2 And Your Atari 2600 is working properly.

Console Generates Sound and Video Signals.

You have Problem In Address Bus and/or Data Line Due To Cold Solder and/or Break Damage in connections.

Resolve problem With Checking The :

Adapter Output : +9v-+10v (IF No, Then Change Adapter)

Regulator Output : +4.9 - 5.1v (IF No, Then Change 7805 and if is possible, Replace Capacitor, Also)

Check The Pins Connections To Board (6507,TIA,RIOT) , Important !

Check and Trace PCB Connections To Find Any Damages (It May Done While Cleaning The Board !) , Important !

Check Soldering Nodes (Don't Forget Connections of Cartridge Slot To PCB/Board).
