i want a dreamcast

I think they're only $30 used at Electronics Boutique. They were doing a trade in deal where two Xbox, PS2 or GC games got you one for free but I don't know if it's still going on.

 

They also had brand new controllers and VMU's for $3.99 at the one I checked.

At one time EB was also doing buy $75 worth of dreamcast games & accessories and get the dreamcast free. That's how I got my first one along with an instant library. I think this deal is back at the EB by me but I'm not 100% sure.

Heck...if your willing to go that high...I can pick up a used DC with 1 controller and pick up a VMU for it and a few games easy for that price!..

 

This would be a boxed DC at that. DCs sell used around here for 39.99 on the average and the games vary depending on popularity. VMUs are about 5.99 used and come with dead batteries. Controllers used to be 6.99 new at my EB here...but I snagged the last they were going to carry just before X-mas. Used they go for 7.99 now on the average at most places.

 

I would be more than happy to pick up a DC for you whatever else I could get for you up to your limit. I might ask a small donation for doing it all...plus the shipping will have to be calculated.

 

Still, These DCs aren't the Funcoland rejects and the place I would get it from would carry a 90 day warranty on it...yeap...90 days...same as they had when they were new.

If you are willing to spend that much you might want to check out the link below. I am almost positive that these are brand new Dreamcast systems for $70. This is the cheapest place that I know of that still has new systems. Lets face it. The newer systems such as the Dreamcast and the PS2 aren't made as well as the old Atari's. I would buy a new system rather than an old one when it comes to the Dreamcast.

I got my DC boxed for $30 at EB and was offered a warranty.

 

My EB also has boxed controllers for $3.99 and various VMU's/Mem cards for as low as $3.99. I've also bought games there ranging from $1.99 to $17.99. Sadly the games are getting harder to come by at EB, of the 150 games, 100 seem to be NFL2k1 and the rest not really worth buying. Did see a Final Fantasy game but that's not my genre so I don't know what it's worth. Also some BleemCast discs as well.

 

I love my DC and can't wait to build the library. Hopefully I can complete it someday.

Eb has this thing where you get a free extra controller when you purchase their $29.99 used Dreamcast. I got mine that way! Its awesome because there is a lot of cool games that you can still find, and they are very cheap.
