Rev #77 Posted January 11, 2016 That is true. There were more than 300 copies. Before I left Canada, I told Joe that I was going to dump the Carol boxes. He asked me to send him some. If I remember correctly, I sent him about 125 in a box and there are about another 125 in another box that are sitting at Scott Nudds' house that I never got around to mailing. The remainder were dumped in the recycling bin. As far as I know, they are Left Turn Only property. I'd be happy to send them to you if Joe says it is OK. Or, you can make a deal with Joe to produce some more. I'm positive he could do another 100-150 without those additional boxes. Wow. Carol boxes. 300 sold. 300 sitting in peoples houses 200 or more? Thrown in the trash. And I can't get a copy for less than 150 on ePay. Priceless

Rev #79 Posted January 11, 2016 Enough of the hyperbole. They are just boxes, not copies of the game. Its not exactly hyperbole. A minimum run of boxes would likely cost 3000 to 5000. The price of a box run is substantial part of the overall costs of releasing a game. My comments were about the potential copies of carol that 'could' of been produced more than stating anything negative about the carol box situation. And how even with a 300 copy print run carol is still fetching a high price.
m-crew #80 Posted January 11, 2016 I would love to have a CIB copy of Carl running to my place..
BBWW #81 Posted January 11, 2016 We had ten games released last year. That doesn't seem like too many. BBWW Games will release at least 1 and no more than 3 in 2016. I'd love to have another for Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This is fun for me. I don't expect games to have unlimited availability because it loses it's fun for me after a certain point. I'd rather put the resources into making a new game. I choose not to sit on a large volume of unsold carts. It doesn't make sense. Right now I don't own a copy of Piggy Bank as I sold all I had. I will keep a few out of the next batch.
