Shawn #11476 Posted June 2, 2017 (edited) It is animated? I see a still image. No it's not animated. The image posted is the result of merging one of the MK images and on of the Mr. B images posted on page 459. Edited June 2, 2017 by Shawn

Flojomojo #11486 Posted June 3, 2017 "Sugary oat cereal with marshmallow stars" I like the truth in advertising. No cereal would ever use the word "sugary" nowadays. Im still shocked at how Sugar Smacks turned into Honey Smacks, and now they're just Smacks. Same thing with Sugar Corn Pops just being Pops now. Maybe "modern Coleco" should adopt something similar. Call their stuff "Crappy Old Video Game" instead of just Game.

RampantOctopus #11488 Posted June 5, 2017 (edited) This thread continues to be top notch. Dare I say, this may be the brightest spot upon the entirety of the Internet? I mean, really-- we've got intrigue, deceit, nostalgia, cutting edge video cards, social media and entrepreneurship, an iPhone app, and now proudly sugary cereals. I'm proud of all of you. PS: someone here needs to forumate the perfect chameleon/MK cereal... I'm thinking that the box may promise oat controllers and marshmallow cartridges, but on the inside, the box would be empty. Newsdee #11489 Posted June 5, 2017 It won't go as far as being empty... on the inside it will be bog standard knock-off corn flakes from a mass discount store brand.
+GoldLeader #11490 Posted June 5, 2017 Remember When For the record I remember in the 80's when sugar became a bad word as far as cereals were concerned...Sugar Smacks became Golden Honey Smacks and Sugar Corn Pops became...Hmmm Was it just Corn Pops? OK, I don't always remember the details... But before all that, for a short time there was Grins & Smiles & Giggles & Laughs. Although I'm sure most people had forgotten about this cereal, I remembered because I had a toy from it and ...Well hopefully you guys dig this...When I was a kid I put the toy and a coupon for the cereal into the drawer of my nightstand. After digging through a bunch of junk in there from decades long past, I found them! The toy was a walking "Cecil", presumably if you tied a string to it and attached a weight (like a coin), you could get it to walk across a table...I think I messed around with it for about 10 minutes in 1979, before realizing that like most toys from boxes of cereal, It didn't really work. Anyway here's a pic. And notice the coupon is for 7 cents off! Because in the late 70's, 7 cents actually meant something.

Oh sorry Flojo,...I hadn't reread things up above...And I honestly didn't realize I was almost quoting you exactly with regard to the word sugar being in cereals haha... I've been meaning to get my memory checked...But I keep forgetting to do it (joke)...
