What's your top 5 favorite video game themes?

Mine would be in order of favorite first:

 

1) nes Super Mario 1

2)nes Zelda 1

3)gameboy Super Mario Land

4)nes Mario Bros 3

5)nes TMNT the Arcade Game

On the other hand, make it your top 10 if you want cause I could go on and on

5) No matter how bad you get your butt kicked, you can still fight just as well when you're about to die as you can when you're fully healthy (Street Fighter)

4) Walking back and forth through a forest for 4 hours fighting insects in order to gain enough experience to fight a giant insect (Any RPG)

3) Mushrooms make you tall (Mario Bros.)

2) Crashing your car has no adverse effects, other than costing you a few seconds worth of time (Any racing game)

1) Beating your opponent, and then brutally killing them while they're helpless (Mortal Kombat)
