Atari 2600/7800 Rapid Fire Gamepads BATCH 2 IS gone

These are aftermarket reproduction NES game pads with the insides taken out and replaced with Atari 2600 and 7800 compatible controller inputs.

Independent control of rapid fire is set via the start and select buttons in one of 4 states

Single shot

2 shots per second

3 shots per second

4 shots per second

Dual color LED indicates each buttons state upon selection, SELECT button toggles modes for button B, START button toggle modes for button A

Button B is mapped to the left button on an Atari 7800 and A is mapped to the right button on Atari 7800. When played with an Atari 2600 game or console, both buttons are mapped to the signal fire button, but remain independent in rapid fire modes, so you could have one button single shot and another set as rapid fire.

COMPATIBILITY

Tested on A2600 and A7800 only no guarantees these will work on other systems like COLECO!!!

Every controller is brand new, features a 5.5 foot (1.6 meter) cord, and price includes postage to the Continental United States.

Due to the limited quantity, orders are limited to 2 per customer.

One Controller for 20$ mailed in the COUSA

Two Controllers for 38 mailed in the COUSA

A second batch will be made once these sell out, but it will take at least a month before I can restock

I too just received mine today. I haven't tested them out yet, but did notice that the A button on one of mine sticks in the down position occasionally when pressed. These seem clicky so they must use actual switches instead of the carbon pads as original NES controllers usually do.

For those that didn't know, these appear to be RetroUSB NES controllers that have been modified for use on the 7800. They aren't actual NES controllers. This is in good in the sense that no actual NES controllers are being sacrificed in the making of these and I'm very OKAY with that!

I will fire up the 7800 here in a bit and test these out in more detail, but thanks again Osgeld!

Yeah...it was actually the B button on one of them and after a few rounds of Zaxxon on the XE it was fine. Also I'm just not used to using cross pad controllers like this on these games, but they are super sensitive! These will require a break in period until they actually start to feel right!

Looks better with the 130XE though...

Got mine...sadly the turbos are too slow for me even on the fastest setting (Joust requires MUCH more for instant lift!) but the controllers control and play well, and the price was great. I also really like the somewhat clicky nature of the controllers.

Gonna slap some Atari logos on them and call it a day!
