Arkanoid for the 2600 is it possible?

I saw a post about this that was from back in 2002 and I think the topic is still a good one as a really want a version of Arkanoid for the 2600 just wanted to share that because I don't think it's been done yet and it is worth the time trust me I am a mood to the atari but this sound like a good idea let me know what you guys think

While I have no plans on being a video game programmer, Arkanoid can be done on the Atari 2600 for multiple reasons as a person who has played Arkanoid.

 

1.) Brik for the Atari 2600 is a similar game to Arkanoid like the post above mentioned.

 

2.) Homebrew Atari 2600 games now are able to use special chip if needed and the rom size of a homebrew Atari 2600 game cartridge can be as big as 64k currently unlike in 2002.

 

3.) Homebrew Atari 2600 have went a long a way since 2002. Princess Rescue and Zippy the Porcupine was released in 2014 and 2015 in the Atariage store as scrolling platform games for the Atari 2600. Those 2 games are way more advanced than Arkanoid is.
