Defender Blaster Journey to the planet. Blaster just blows my mind with what the 5200 is doing here. Just shocking that this never released at retail on the 5200,but yeah I guess the game crash really was that bad for it to be shelved. You sorta wonder what might have happened if a game like this had released on the system as a packin along with a better controller thrown in as well. Journey to the planet is a surprising game with some good depth,exploration and shooting mechanics. The graphics have a cool charm to them too. Game has abit of a cool eerie feel with all the barren, isolated plants to explore So glad that 800XL games can be ported over to the system like this. Blows my mind what the game is doing. Defender I started playing and its so much better than the rotten Atari 2600 original from eons ago. The vector visuals in the 5200 version along with all the special effects and stuff on screen is one hell of a fine moment for the 5200. Stand up and take a bow big guy. Game is freaking beautiful.
