Lord-Chaos #1 Posted April 19, 2003 This is one of my favourite ATARI 800 XL games. But how good is the ATARI 2600 version ? I´ve never seen an original cartridge , it is quite rare in Europe I think. Can you compare it to the ATARI 800 version (or the C64 , Coleco and PC versions ) ??? rasty #2 Posted April 19, 2003 I always liked Montezuma too, and the 2600 version is pretty amazing! Rasty.-
SS #3 Posted April 19, 2003 What Rasty said. PB did a really nice job on the 2600 converstion.
Witchfynde #4 Posted April 19, 2003 Does it pretty much repeat itself over and over again? 'Cause I got up to level 6 or so and all it seems to do is place objects in different places, so I guess it doesn't end or anything. Parker Bros. did an excellent job at only 8k though. Amazing to think it was originally designed by a 16 year old.
AtariDude #5 Posted April 19, 2003 I remember playing that game a lot on my Atari 800XL. That was a lot of fun. Never played the Atari 2600 version but my friends told me that it was an excellent conversation given the smaller size of memory for the 2600.
