Sapicco #1 Posted January 14, 2016 http://home.planet.nl/~lsimonis/lynx/tntterry/about.html Anyone know much about this game? Sounds awesome. I've played dynablaster for Lynx and was somewhat dissointed on first play. Was expecting gameplay like bomberman, which tnt terry seems to be. Any thoughts or more info? sage #2 Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Yeah, plaing a tech demo might be disappointing. Hope you havent paid money for it. From the name i would expect it was planned as a multiplayer game like dynablasters from .tSCc. for STE/Falcon. tnt terry is a (non-playable?) demo and was never released to public. 108 Stars #3 Posted February 3, 2016 TNT Terry is nothing more than a sprite moving around the screen I heard from someone who played the demo. No gameplay was ever implemented it seems. Also the FAQ notes that it was last updated in 1998. Recently, I upgraded to a Pentium 100Mhz, with 64MB ram, a 640 mb harddisk and the same 217 MB harddisk as in the 486. Only that one died on me this afternoon (29/07/98). Snif. My pc's 'powered' by Win'95, OSR 2.0. So it is safe to say that the project has been dead for 18 years now. I know it looked and sounded nice, but apparently not much was ever done. I agree though that a Bomberman game with Comlynx would be an absolute blast on the Lynx. Just don't expect TNT Terry to be that game.
sage #4 Posted February 6, 2016 dynablaster for lynx is in hibernation for 15 years or so. There is just no interest to finish it. but nive to see that there is a market for illegal bootlegs.
