Gorfy
Surprisingly, I don't have this game, so Stella it is this week! Anxious to get started, so I'm gonna post a score even if it sucks.... 36,800
Algus
32,800 Hey I feel pretty good about scoring almost as much as Gorfy on my first attempt! I've not played this one before but I'm an old Nintendo fan so I've played the NES and Arcade versions many times. This is a very good translation! I had fun with it.
karokoenig
A great choice for kicking off the new season! I suck at it, of course.

Algus
68,900 Well, I am not the best at these old games so my personal goal will be to crack 100k, which I think I can do but man screw those fireballs when they get faster!

Avii
So this is my first HSC, I was just wondering do I have to do anything to Stella? Or do I just start the game as is and go for it?
Gorfy
So this is my first HSC, I was just wondering do I have to do anything to Stella? Or do I just start the game as is and go for it? You probably can just start the game as is since we're playing game 1 on level B difficulty
LidLikesIntellivision
So this is my first HSC, I was just wondering do I have to do anything to Stella? Or do I just start the game as is and go for it? We are playing this game with left difficulty B and right difficulty B. Usually Atari games start with these settings but you can press F6 to set left difficulty as B and F8 to set right difficulty as B. In stella you have: LEFT DIFFICULTY B: F6 LEFT DIFFICULTY A: F5 RIGHT DIFFICULTY B: F8 RIGHT DIFFICULTY A: F7 --- I forgot about game 1. Gorfy's last post remembered me. You can choose which game by pressing F1 and F2 is to start a game. These keys will help you in future rounds. As Gorfy said, for this game, you can just play it right away. Lauren Tyler
I remember finding this game at a yard sale once. I thought, 'Hey, it ain't too shabby!' I mean sure, the bonus wafers are questionable, but it's due to the limits of the Atari 2600! Anyway, first score! It's good to be back!

karokoenig
Also discovered a possible way to milk points by killing the icebergs, but haven't perfected it yet. That method has been mentioned in the 2005 thread as a big no-no. See the link gorfy posted above.

CapitanClassic
Levels 9 & 10 are definitely milkable. So, are we outlawing milking Iceman? If so, shouldn't we just go by highest level reached?CapitanClassic - 369,600 Edited January 19, 2016 by CapitanClassic
