F/S: RR & LOL

Recommended Posts

What are these and how much do they go for typically? Both fun?

Robot Rubble and League of Light were unreleased Activision games from 1983. They were first released on the Intellivision Rocks CD in 2001. Rom files are out there if you want to try them out.

I guess we will be able to play these games when LTO Flash comes out?

Yes, you will be able to add these to the LTO Flash if you have the ROMs.

I believe the Hive will be a multicart that you can add you own ROMs on to it.

There is always the possibility of using emulators, such as the RetroPie/JzIntv on a Raspberry and the Ultimate PC Interface.

You can probably find the Intellivision Lives! and Rocks! CDs on eBay pretty cheap. There were a few other releases for PC and consoles, but I can't keep straight which releases had which games. Someone should put that on a website or something.

Yeah, they're more for hardcore collecting than playing. Robot Rubble is a fun game but League of Light is, well, an acquired taste.

A very diplomatic yet honest appraisal. I have not yet acquired enough taste to play it.

I've always wondered whether RR and LoL should be classified as IntelligenVision or Psycho Stormtrooper...

Both, and a lot more to it! Read the story on the Beeslife website under history.

I did to not include RR and LOL in the Intelligentvision catalog. ;-)

Update:

I have several offers (thank you!) and a couple are pretty close to what I had in mind. I'll be replying back to everyone shortly.

I plan on keeping bids open through the weekend unless someone wants them at $1,600 for a "Buy-It-Now" price, that's my automatic acceptance price! So if you want to be sure that you win, that'll do it!

EDIT: Fushek, I'm sorry, I know that was off topic

Not in the Intellivision forum! Oh no!

Please let us know the selling price.....

Well ... I don't mind saying afterwards, but I'll want to ask the buyer if they mind ...

RR & LOL have been sold!

Final selling price was $1,400 to a fellow member here on Atariage. So if you're thinking of selling or buying, this is the current price to beat!

I'll let the buyer make his/her own announcement if/when he/she/it decides to do so.
