Atari STE and 1.44Mb floppies

The CF adapter is dual ended, so only 1 card will ever be visible, though I do have a longer cable and I am going to probably set it up so that the CF card can be unplugged externally.

 

However, I still need to connect up the CF card to something like that will allow me to read it, such as an emulator, in order to transfer files, but with the 1.44Mb floppies, I can copy easily direct from PC to STE with no need to use some sort of software to read the disk and then copy files into it. the 1.44Mb floppies are interchangeable between PC and STE directly.

 

Plus it was fun to do!!
