flashjazzcat #7 Posted January 27, 2016 I guess since there's a cart pass-thru, we'll see an XE ECI adapter too.

+CharlieChaplin #10 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Yes, very interested. Two for me please, with case/housing and PBI cable... (RAM upgrade included ? Or is this something for version F?) Edited January 27, 2016 by CharlieChaplin
+Larry #11 Posted January 27, 2016 Certainly looks like a lot fewer IC's. @Simius- when you have a chance how about posting a photo or two of the "old" and the "new" together. @FJC -- the freezer XE PBI adapter looks like it would be perfect, but it doesn't work with the Rev d. IIRC, Ctirad says there is a line missing from the Freezer adapter. Edit: yes, Rev d does appear to work with the Freezer XE adapter and even the old MIO XE adapter. (I had the IDE drive turned off in the settings.) -Larry

lemiel #23 Posted January 28, 2016 Covox like in version S?
Simius #24 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) Major difference is, that the device number, write protection and SDX control are set through non-volatile register with LED indication, not mechanical switches. Onboard memories control registers are now readable/writeable, not write only. The rest of the features is (almost) the same - IDE+2 with 96kB FLASH BIOS and 32kB SRAM, SDX with 896kB FLASH, V3021 real-time clock, covox on demand. PBI-ECI adapter included.Price is US$75.
