NumbThumb #1 Posted February 2, 2016 Perhaps old news to most people here but I could not find a post about it so… Apparently the ECS Music Synthesizer had a predecessor, the Optigan. "The Optigan was released in 1971 by Optigan Corporation, a subsidiary of toy manufacturer Mattel, Incorporated of El Segundo, California with the manufacturing plant located nearby in Compton, California."
