I posted a video and some info about Vs. Super Mario Bros. I decided to do a playthrough of Vs. Castlevania. This one is MUCH HARDER! Like the NES version the levels are the same; but some differences are the amount of damage you take. It takes 4 bars off in the first sector of the castle alone. 3 hits you are dead later on. You get less points than the NES version when the time in seconds and hearts tally after completing an area. Also you got 170 seconds to complete the first 3 areas so there is no time to waste. Then it goes to the normal time in the last 3. I completed the game and scored 182,164 points. Only died once total. Stage 10 a cheap knocked into the water death.

Not sure I remember this being in the arcades much, if at all. Kinda rare as far as Nintendo games go?

Just a heads up: I have an Insignia also and for the longest time, didn't know I had Overscan turned on. Should be able to see more of the screen when disabled...

BTW: If you have the option available, can you turn off overscan on your TV? I have an Insignia also and for the longest time, didn't know I had it partially "zoomed" in like that. Should be able to see more of the screen if so...

It's played on my modded xbox and as I played it I forgot to adjust the screen ratio in the video settings. It was on 16:9 instead of 4:3. All future gameplay videos will be done in 4:3. I have it set as well on my modded Wii. My television screen view is on Panorama. Everyone is telling me it's more impressive I did it on an overscanned view. :)
