pimpmaul69 #27 Posted February 8, 2016 Elaine T Valente Park (over by the Platte) has some INSANE carp in those ponds... Caught a 36 incher out of there... Drag peeler for sure. Thornton gravel ponds is good for panfish... God, I miss Denver.... if you ever come visit we will have to meet.
atarifan88 #28 Posted February 8, 2016 I'm all set in my makeshift man cave! Nice Blue Jackets stuff! It's good to know I am in good company here as I'm a fellow Blue Jackets fan myself from Cleveland. Have the home opener banner and flag just like the ones on your wall. I was fortunate to have gone to the first ever home opener. Too bad there isn't an online multi-player option, otherwise I would ask if you were interested in playing some Slap Shot Super Pro Hockey. It's been a tough year to watch the team. Hopefully things will bet better sooner than later...

Hopefully things will bet better sooner than later... I am originally from Columbus myself. Grew up a Kings fan since Luc Robitaille and Jari Kurri are my heroes. But when my hometown got a team I switched. It's been a tough road but Torts will get them playing better by next year. Here is a better shot of my "shrine". It has the inaugural season pennant and patch, the opening night pennant and poster, and the tickets to the first preseason game (Wings) - the first regular season game (Hawks) - and the first ever home win (Caps). I was lucky enough to get to go to all 3 thanks to a well to do friend who had season tickets but didn't know any other hockey fans. Still looking for a stub to our first ever home playoff win vs. the Pens. Didn't get to go to that one unfortunately. Good to see some other hockey fans here! I finally got a copy of Slap Shot just a month ago. Working on making a reproduction box for it as we speak, lol

Nutsy Doodleheimer #37 Posted February 9, 2016 Born and bred in Seattle, Washington. Huge Mariners and Seahawks fan. And not to mention the Sonics before departing to Oklahoma City to become the Thunder. Used to enjoy going to the Kingdome and watching Griffey, Martinez, Buhner, and Johnson. Miss the old Seahawks days watching Largent, Easley, Warner, Kreig, Brown, and Young.
DZ-Jay #38 Posted February 9, 2016 What is this "Super Bowl" of which you speak?
Opry99er #39 Posted February 9, 2016 It is a large salad bowl, typically used for a combination of sour cream and picante sauce. It is brought out once a year and guys wearing armor and protective helmets with pictures on them fight each other for the right to bring it to their city. tacrec #40 Posted February 9, 2016 Me: Dodgers, Raiders (since L.A.), Kings, Sharks, Seahawks, and Boise State. I guess I gotta give the Rams some love now. The "Super Bowl" is a commercial showcase with a sport and musical performances inserted in random places. Bummed to see Lynch retire, gonna miss his media responses. And I so miss the Bud Bowl! It would be so easy to do now with CGI!
PhoenixMoonPatrol #41 Posted February 9, 2016 Baseball: pitchers and catchers report in a month and a half... Hope Springs Eternal... Too bad my Rockies suck. Yes Sir! My Mets need to get their butts back to the playoffs and not throw the damn World Series away again this year. But yeah football is abit of a time killer for me. Keeps me busy while waiting for baseball for the rest of the year Cannot wait for opening day!
+cmart604 #42 Posted February 9, 2016 GO LEAFS GO!!!!! this season straight to the bottom.... Good year to suck actually, really strong Top 10. I'm actually hoping my Canucks tank hard in the next thirty games. Only five points away from the Leafs at the bottom.

Don't be too hard on your Mets as they never really stood a chance. The Royals were absolutely relentless this year after losing in Game 7 last year. 2016 should be interesting, there's probably a dozen or so teams that have a legitimate shot at winning.

Edmonton will win.. lol ... Man with so many first picks theres no way they should be granted first pick again...

+cmart604 #46 Posted February 9, 2016 Yah this might be the first year since before expansion that no Canadian team makes the playoffs. Crazy. I see the Leafs dumped Phaneuf and his albatross contract on the Sens today. Leafs are going to have so much cap space....hello Steven Stamkos.

+cmart604 #48 Posted February 9, 2016 Blue Jays all the way!!!! this year ... Jays will do what the Royals did last year!!!!! Jays are my second favourite team now that the Expos are long gone. I don't think the Jays are going to be as good this year, plus the Red Sox and Yankees will likely be better. The AL is going to be really hard this year. The Royals were exactly like that. They were like snakes in the grass just feeding off mistakes and getting very clutch when they needed to. Very aggressive. They had that "eye of the tiger." In the end all you can do is try to learn from it when youre in position to go to that next step. For sure the 2016 baseball season won't be a given to who will get to the World Series. Its exciting, nerve wracking, and damn fun to watch. Its 6 months of pure adrenaline Edited February 9, 2016 by PhoenixMoonPatrol
