Atariboy
Never taken advantage of this because I was concerned that it would tie me to using them and I appreciate having my saves local and accessible offline. Yet with backwards compatibility on the Xbox One, I wonder if I should start uploading saves in this manner. Does it replace local saving, or just complements it? moycon
It complements it. You could always choose where to save. The cloud just shows up as one on any number of saving options, and I think it even syncs with your console. Like in the past, I've had where the cloud was down (internet down) but still was able to pull my latest save from the HDD. Been awhile though since I've been in that situation. Might be different now but I doubt it.
Bill Loguidice
Yeah, on the 360 there are a crazy number of save options, each of which are available and don't remove/replace another one. But yeah, if you want to use your saves on the Xbox One, you'll need to use Cloud Saves no matter what.
