Why didn't later Vectrex units have the bug in the built-in game fixed!?

Why Didn't GCE do a damn thing with the later units of the Vectrex instead of RE-RELEASING MINE STORM ON CART!? WHY!?? Talk about being way cheap.

Isn't it fixed in the later units? The Minestorm 2 cart was sent to people who complained about the bug, it wasn't commercially available (which is why copies are worth $$$ nowadays).

It is fixed in the last units afaik. Ones that begin with 3 in the serial number I think.

think it has to begin with a 31 serial and have a 7ADB bios
