lokidchser
hi, been away for a long time, but dug out my old heavy sixer, and discovered that all three of my cx-10's are in varying state of broken-ness, including one very corroded circuit board. doesnt appear as though B.E. has any cx-10 parts. anyone know where i can get tnem? CX40 parts can be had at best Electronics here: http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/CX40_REBUILD%20KIT.htm Here is article to modify CX40 parts to fit CX10: http://www.cgquarterly.com/2010/04/01/replacing-the-pcb-in-your-atari-cx-10-heavy-sixer-joystick/ Hope that helps. +Stephen Moss
I think http://sales1632.myzen.co.uk/acatalog/16_32_Webshop_Atari_Hardware_and_Cables_91.html may be what you are looking for although postage may cost more to mail it depending on where it would be going. Lynxpro
Does the PCB really even matter? [i.e. it doesn't look different from a later CX40 PCB]. The CX10 has a longer fire button and that extra plastic piece that sits atop the PCB which makes it more responsive than the CX40. Other than that - and the Atari name on the top of the joystick itself - I don't see much difference. Despite my failure with 3D scanning, couldn't one scan the CX10 fire button and the other piece and then add them to a CX40 to replicate the experience?
