Prosystemsearch
Well, how about it? Do you think so or not?
Rick Dangerous
Obviously YES. For so many reasons, but especially all the great ST games.
Tillek
I said no simply because most of the games my friends and I played on the ST were games without scoring (simulations, RPG's, etc). Maybe just separate computer HSC and console HSC?
Christos
No. A few years ago when st gaming was more popular we held stot. Unfortunately we werent able to maintain player and organiser interest. Still they were two very fun seasons.
ParanoidLittleMan
STOT is what came to my mind too. But, if some new people want to start some new high score site, competition online, why not. Since STOT ceased at game Son Shu Shi, I need to point on that must be careful with what games to select, and about reliable sources. +CyranoJ
must be careful with what games to select, and about reliable sources. I agree. You should only use STX images. Some of the guys patching games these days don't have a clue
Fletch
I agree. You should only use STX images. Some of the guys patching games these days don't have a clue That is a good point about using STX images. I hadn't considered that so many .MSA and .ST images have Trainers, infinite lives, and the like.
ParanoidLittleMan
Cyrano just used chance to do his usual shitting. Son Shu Shi crack was done some 25 years ago, and no good source. I'm even not sure that crack self was bad - maybe image went corrupted during time and diverse transfers. What is sure is that you can write me about need for fix - and I will respond. Will someone who dealt with it 25-30 years ago ? STX images may be bad too, or emulators/Pasti support not all protections - so problems may happen with them. Additionally, real thing would be to allow people to play on real Ataris, so STX is not good idea. The real question is how to verify submitted scores ? And btw. : since Falcon is not well emulated, real HW is the only way !

ataricrypt
That's a great point PP, real hardware only for me but STX isn't the way then... Catch 22 ?
