Chris++ #4 Posted February 18, 2016 It's one of the few 2600 games that I like even more than their arcade originals, even considering this one's raster-vs.-vector difference. The in-between sectors full of asteroids or meteors (depending on how far you've gotten), during which you can dock multiple times and rebuild your shields, etc., aren't in the original. Be sure to read the manual, learn the controls really well and use warp on Nomad! Just zip right up to him, turn and fire before he can get very far. (I got the game for Christmas of '83. I wanted it because of the cool joystick overlay. My excuse for being swayed by something so extraneous: I was eleven. I got lucky, though -- it's one of Sega's best games for the console.) unicyclesuck1992 #5 Posted February 18, 2016 It's definitely a good game, but I must say I've played better. It gets bonus points from me though because I'm a total Trek junkie
Buyatari #6 Posted February 18, 2016 This was one of my favorites on the TI 99. Never played it on the 2600.

Jinks #8 Posted February 18, 2016 Oh you need a keypad to play? I have this game but can not figure it out.
Buyatari #9 Posted February 18, 2016 Oh you need a keypad to play? I have this game but can not figure it out. No just the standard controller as far as I know. Take a look at this overlay if you are having problems with the controls.
