Are we going to instigate a get-together this time for AAgers? Albert said something about wanting to set something up last year for us to meet but it didn't materialize for some reason or other I can't remember. Would like to meet some folks.

Absolutely, and I expect several to happen. We did a mini-meet last year with a few of us, but herding a larger selection of cats got to be a bit tricky. Seeing as there's going to be 20-30 Intellivision people alone, maybe we can find a place that can seat a large group for dinner?

I don't recall visiting any pizza joints up there during any of my Canada visits. Previously while visiting customers in the Burnaby area, I've gone a few times to The Flying Wedge for a quick lunch, which is mainly a "by the slice" chain in the area.

Here's a story about my first driving experience in Canada: When driving in my rental car from YVR, I saw that a road sign say that the speed limit was 50km, so I instinctively looked on the smaller inner ring of numbers for the "km" number, where the km/h numbers are supposed to be, right? Well, they are there on our speedos, so I looked at the inner ring and found 50 there, then looked up to the outer number row and saw that the speed limit was "80" on this little road.

"Really? 80mph? Wow, these Canucks have some really high speed limits, so why are these other drivers on the road driving so slow. Get out of my way and speed up, would ya?!?"

At some point it dawned on me that the km/h are actually on the outside numbers and then I realized that it would be normal for Canadian cars to have the KM numbers on the larger outside number ring on their speedometers, and I needed to slow down, a whole lot... Now most Canadian cars don't even have two rows of numbers any more. No more confusion on my part since there aren't two rows of numbers any more for me to get mixed up.

And during that first visit, I saw that the ambulance drivers were all on strike. Boy, aren't I glad that I didn't need one of them to take a trip to the hospital.

Who gets to ride the elephant first?

My personal hope is to all get together on Saturday at some point, that is the day I will be there from start to finish.

I will be there for games of course, but if we find Doughnuts or Pizza along the way I am cool with that too! :)

I promise I won't be leaning over my Prius in the parking garage this year, unless someone has a sealed CBS Turbo or Blockade Runner. LOL

Yes, but only if you can do both simulaneously

Lol. A flying double kick from the side would work. :)

Back cover of the Aerosmith Album Night in the Ruts. Look at the writing on the rock.

Lol. Lest any other part of the forums doubt or challenge it, we Inty peeps are kings of the off topic post.
