Tarzan is in the public domain. However Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. also "Trademarked" Tarzan in 1923. So while the copyright is clear the Trademark won't be until 2020. This is an unusual move but it could potentially make even doing Tarzan a tough fight to do as a legitimate release. It would be fun to see some of these games done WELL for the Intellivision it has been shown the Coleco never would have done it right.
