Rumor says Nintendo NX is launching this year with Zelda

Recommended Posts

As with anything, rumours abound in the pre-release hype. That being said I would imagine a Mario game being a given release title, with a Zelda title being a possibility given how much they talked about it, then went silent.

I'm just holding out for a good Metroid game (not that Other M refuse they tried to sell me). Something that harkens back to the stunning masterpiece that was the Metroid Prime series.

Sounds like they'll repeat their own history with the GC/Wii by porting their intended Wii-U game to the NX. Which naturally didn't help the GC any, even when they finally backported the game back to the system it was originally intended to run on.

I was more or less waiting on the Zelda game on the Wii U. I guess I should re-evaluate the system with the existing games to see if I really want it or not. (3DS comes first anyway though.)

The GameCube and Wii games came out extremely close together. The GameCube one came out December 11, 2006 (my birthday). The Wii version was November 19, 2006.
