I remember playing cookie monster munch in St. Louis Children's Hospital when I was there for my pectus repair in 1986. I am planning to get it but was hoping to find a label in better condition. RJ
This is called ActiPlaque, named for the Activision cartridge labels' subpar adhesive. I have the 4 CTW games, & mine from best to worst looking are: Alpha-Beam (decent pic label but end label is poor) Cookie Monster Munch Big Bird's Egg Catch & Oscar's Trash Race (tie, really bad, maybe worse than the link's pic)
Cambouis de l'Atari
https://cambouisdelatari.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/ata-cookie.jpg Mine is in a very good condition, I'm sure you can find a nicer one ! These are not activision ones, so they show less actiplaque symptoms

Cambouis de l'Atari
Maybe, but at a much lesser level ! For activision, il also suspect a bad quality paper used too (and no gloss).
RJ
JFTR no one said the CTW games were made by Activision...I said such a condition is CALLED Actiplaque (-ing), so named because it's commonly seen on Activision carts, I'd say more often that not. & my last 2 listed (Oscar & Big Bird) are much worse than any Activision I have or have seen. bradhig
I have seen something similar on Commodore 64 disk labels.
