Atari 5200 Xari Arena final version released!

As per the wishes of the original programmer John Seghers, here is the final version of Xari Arena dated 9-20-83. This was recovered from a ROM file saved onto an 8-inch disk created by their VAX system at Atari. The ROM file on the disk was not a binary file, so some work had to be done to make it into a cartridge binary.

Thanks for your work on tracking down this game and making this final version of the game available. It's one of the few original titles for the 5200, and it really shines on the system. And it supports the Trak-Ball controllers, and even tow Trak-Ball controllers for simultaneous, two-player action, which is a blast! I even enjoy playing it with the stock 5200 joystick controller. :)

Quickly glancing at the binary, I think you can do this:

8K filled with $FF

First half of binary

8K filled with $FF

Second half of binary

That should give you a working 32K image.

EDIT: I tried this and Albert says it does not work. Curious.
