When he's downstairs he is literally surrounded by his collection.

Cmart, you should stand behind your couch and take a panoramic video of the entire room - the view you have when you sit at the couch and play games.

Other than the grammatical errors (which there are several people that can help with that...Oscar and JF know who has been helpful in the past) the one that that is bothering me is the windows.

You are in a Central American temple/pyramid...why are there European windows like you would see in Castelvania? Aztecs and Mayans didn't have glass, bars or rounded arches on their windows. They were small and square. Small thing, but it really throws me out of the stylistic theme of the game, I keep thinking "Why is Dracula's Castle inside of an Aztec pyramid?"

Yeah, I'm going to have someone fixing the typos/grammatical errors

As for the windows, I agreed

And that's something that bothering me since the begining

Problem is I never found any good replacement

After your post, I've decided to give it another try

Here's the result

2 different windows style in this picture

I think as long as there is no arch or curves they will be dispel the Castle window look. The rectangle ones definitely are an improvement.

Lowering the top of the window by 6 or 8 pixels and putting some stone sculpture decoration on top would help. Some of the examples above should help and some of the examples show T shaped windows

A preview of the included map...

If it shows the whole game then I think it will give too much of it away. How about showing about 1/3 of the game rooms and the rest can be burned like it was pulled from a fire or sun faded into nothing. That would make it much more fun for the player to explore beyond what they can see in the map.

The thing is you should not use the map at all

I'm including one just in case someone is REALLY stuck and can't progress further in the game

Although, no items, treasures or enemies are shown in the map ;)

If its in the box it will get looked at and used ;). Obscuring most of the map keeps an air of mystery about the game and adds to its "lost tribe" theme. The map in the box could show several of the rooms around where the player starts and perhaps one or two tricky areas of the game. That would leave plenty for the player to discover on their own.

I agree. Have a big stain or a large chunk burnt or ripped out to give it a more mysterious air.

Encouraging players to go "old school" and make their own more complex maps and share game play tips and strategies with other AA members adds to the vibe of the game release. Having almost the complete game map handed to them on a silver plate is not much fun in my opinion.

I don't think having a total map is a bad idea. It won't show everything like enemies, treasures, etc. + you can choose to not use it if you wish. But with real life being so busy for so many of us, it does give those of us with limited time a helping hand should we get stuck. I say this not knowing how game is laid out so whatever map is included is appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Maybe I could print different parts of the map.....

People will all get different parts

Just a thought....

Yeah, you can split the map up and print each part into the inside of the box - randomly.

So if someone wants a complete map, then there is no telling how many CIB they will need to buy in order to get a complete map. And they'd have to cut up the box just to get each piece of the map to be laid out properly next to each other.

My thoughts as well, I think a complete map is the way to go. Its up to the individual how much they would want to use it.. :)

I am really going to have to find an alternative to a stock Intellivision controller that I can use for when this game comes out .

I've tested it with the stock Intellivision controller and it plays very well :) in fact I had to adjust one or two things because not the same as in emulator ;)

Yeah, I'm going to have someone fixing the typos/grammatical errors

And I'm waiting for these corrections!!!
