Pinball Hall of Fame

Recommended Posts

Last weekend I was in Las Vegas and finally had a chance to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame. It was my first time visiting and it was really awesome; the place just oozes of passion for the games. The machines are all from the collections of members of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club. It is free admission, games area all set at reasonable prices ($0.50 play mainly) and they take donations for the Salvation Army. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are into pinball.

One of the main reasons I found out about the place and wanted to go is because awhile back I read about them owning 1 of 2 prototypes in existence of this unreleased vertical pinball game. I am really glad I got the chance to play a few games of it, totally awesome game.

Visited last spring break with the family. My boys & I loved it, my wife couldnt have been more bored. My kids kept getting the puck stuck in that table slide bowling thing toward the back. The guy had a stick nearby used for just that occasion.

& one son was crawling under the machines finding quarters, until the lady him to stop for safety reasons. Rightly so. The wiring's encased in conduit along the floor but they dont want to be faulted for anyone getting injured.

My wife and I went to Vegas last year and stopped by the Pinball Hall of Fame. Played a ton of Pinball and Asteroids. Had the Asteroids cabinet to myself for about an hour.

By the way, did you notice the Classic Game Store, next to the Hall of Fame?

My son and I just came back from our local arcade. Played Asteroids, Galaga, Gorf, Food Fight, Ms. Pac-Man, Tempest, Tron and Robotron. :)

I did not, wish I would have when I was there. I do remember it was in the parking lot of a strip club so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I only knew about the game store from gamester81's YT PB HoF video, he interviewed the owner.
