Include a flash on demand service for collectors, and I could help you for funding :D

Yeah. This is what I have been dreaming of as well.

A robot that 3D prints a cart, glues in the pcb, prints the label and attaches it to the cart, programs the cart, prints a box, cuts the box. Puts everything in a flat envelope, prints the stamp and address label. Sends email to the post office that there is mail to be fetched.

Here is the blueprint of what it will look like.

There's horribly much work selling physical copies, I was exhausted selling a few carts (without box) on ebay! ? But still it's extremely rewarding to have a physical game/product.

Maybe the step of assembling the cart wouldn't be impossible with Lego? :D I think those mindstorms sets are really expensive though.

So:

Thankfully being a long-time software and hardware developer, this whole pandemic thing (apart from the mask wearing) is how I live anyway.... ?

Hi,

Has anyone had any updates on their orders for the Lynx cart? I ordered from atariage a few minutes after the email went out. I received an order confirmation but have heard nothing since. Emailed them and also tried their contact form but got no reply.

Anyone know what is happening with them?

FAQ
Q: Este cartucho funcionará no Lynx 1/2?

This menu works so well, thank you very much.

I've noticed a minor bug in MakeROMList.  For some reason, the program puts the square brackets at the end of the long name in the txt file for some rom files.  The square brackets cause the menu to display some garbled text in the menu.  The fix is to manually edit the txt file and delete the square brackets, then the menu works properly.

I have copies of the Atari Lynx GameDrive back in stock for anyone interested in purchasing one!

Highly recommended. Short of a screen replacement, this is the best thing you can buy for your Lynx.

FAQ
Q: Will this cartridge work in the Lynx 1 / 2?

A: The cartridge itself will work fine in both the Lynx 1 and 2, however the case for the cartridge wont fit inside the Lynx 1, so I am offering either cased or uncased versions of the cartridge. The uncased version will work fine in the Lynx 2, however you don't get protection against knocks, ESD, etc, that you get with the case.

@SainT is there a way to adopt cased Lynx SD for Lynx 1?

My Lynx 2 is currently dead and I'd like to play some game on my Lynx I

Not that I would recommend.

The top case is glued in place -- if you are careful you may be able to remove it and then use the cartridge on the Lynx 1, but from experience I know this isn't easy without being destructive.

I must be unlucky, mine removed very quickly on its own, and I had to use some tape to fix it again (which was not a big issue to be honest).

"Your mileage may vary" in this case. :)

It was down to me adding glue and holding the case together until it's set, so adhesion will vary from board to board.
