Lynx Multi Card Preorders

Recommended Posts

It's not all that suprising. Compatability issues between flash carts and hardware mods is nothing new. Just look at the Everdrive plus HiDef NES. Only played nice together after both products got firmware updates.

I'll ship anywhere the Royal Mail lets me.

So really, unless you physically don't receive any post, I should be able to post to you! :)

Hi,

Would you add me to list to purchase one cased and one not cased Lynx SD Multicart.

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, he's ending it with the case regardless, and you can put it on or not, right?

At the beginning of the thread in faq section it says you can order it either cased of not.

Well in that case, I would like one cased. Mainly because I plan on getting a Lynx 2. Though I swear I should have mine laying around somewhere, I don't think I have it anymore :(

In the FAQ it also says...

Q: I want an uncased cart for my Lynx 1 -- can I have the case unfitted?
A: Yep, no problem, I'll include the case as well should you want to attach it later.
:)
Don't worry about saying if you want cased or not at this point, as I don't bother recording the info. I ask when I get to you what you want. I will always have both options, as I make up stock as required.
Think of it as taking a number in a queue and I'll call your number when I get to you. ;)

Thanks SainT, that's what I thought and why I didn't specify! :) Such an awesome project, I'll definitely be buying both this and the Jag SD cart when you get that going. Only consoles I own right now are the Jaguar, PS3 and PS4, and the later two mostly collect dust. Ha!

Wow @SainT.. over 400 interests so far. Way to go!

On a side note, that 400 Lynxes that need new MOSFET and Zener diodes :) I just happen to have a stockpile now of 400 1N5991B zener diodes that match the original zener's spec (same part number).

Yeah, it's getting to be quite a sizable number!

I also put in an order for another 100 populated PCB's a few days ago, so I shouldn't have any downtime between the next batches. I've been very pleased with this last lot of carts (gold plated finish), so I'm trying to keep up the pace... :)

So... you're basically saying these are now collectable... how can I call myself a Lynx collector, until I have the super rare, 100-only, original "silver pin" edition? Bugger.

Well there's a few versions you need. You need the hand-made version first, then the RetroHQ branded silver pin, and the gold pin models to have em all lol.

Lol, yes, there are 4 hand-made units out there and about 90 odd HASL solder finish (there are a few I need to fix), the rest will be gold plated.

And I'll eventually get around to packaging too!! :D

I wonder how hard it'd be to mod the PCB to have a SMD blue led light up on the Lynx SD logo.. because that would just be fun.
