Blazing Lazers

Jag Skunkboard, Neo Geo US AES CIB's, vintage rarities, PS1 gems, misc

Recommended Posts

Doing a little Spring cleaning and collection consolidation and wanted to give the community first dibs at any and/or all of these before they hit Ebay (if they don’t sell here). None of the following prices are firm, and I’m in no rush to sell these, and am open to reasonable offers. Shoot me an offer if you think I’m too expensive. Additional images are available upon request. I prefer to ship within the US, though am willing to ship abroad to a reliable buyer. Shipping for all of the following will be with USPS, and include full tracking/insurance/good packing/etc. All titles have been tested and are in good working order.

Anyways, first is a “new” copy of Blazing Lazers for the TG-16. It is complete, and in overall very good condition, with the exception of a slightly crumpled outer box. It also includes the original plastic shrink wrap- apparently the guy I bought it from kept it that way. $70.00

Sega Genesis MUSHA repro $50

Spare overlay and manual for the recent Vectrex Warrior homebrew. This was an impulse buy on Ebay- I thought that the ROM had been released. Turns out it hasn’t, and copies of the game itself sell way high when they do show up. So, this is for offer, as I have no idea what to ask for it and forget what I paid about a year or so ago for it. If anyone wants a scan of either I’ll be happy to oblige :)

Emerson Arcadia Tunix clone rarities:

  • Grand Slam Tennis cartridge, controller overlays, and manual. $75. EDIT- GST SOLD
  • CIB Funky Fish- $125. This was one of the two planned US releases featured in the game brochures that do not seem to have ever had an US release. It also seems to be fairly rare elsewhere in the world.

Fairchild Channel F rarities lot: CIB copies of #23: Galactic Space Wars and #25: Casino Poker. GSW is the rarer and (IMHO) more desirable illustrated-box version. I recently, and to my immense surprise, got these as spare copies in part of a large trade lot. It's among the very few times I’ve ever encountered Channel F stuff in the wild. I wish I’d found them sooner. Anyways, $150 for both, or $80 each. These should really help out someone’s Channel F collection. EDIT- #23: GSW SOLD

NEW PRICE FOR #25: CASINO POKER IS $75!

PS1 Original Playstation games- (am willing to sell as a lot for a fair offer). Don’t need these anymore thanks my new PSIO toy :)

  • Einhander CIB, very good, clean disc. $70
  • Diablo CIB, very good, clean disc. $45.
  • Intelligent Qube CIB, good, clean disc $45 SOLD!
  • Metal Slug X CIB $20
  • Strikers 1945 CIB $20

Neo Geo AES US English games. For sale as one grand big lot of 25 CIB games for $3500, smaller lots, or individually. None are dead mint, but most are in very, very good condition, except as where noted. All are complete. The system itself is not for sale unless the entire lot of 25 games are purchased in one fell swoop. These are all being sold towards a multicart and a CMVS or cab.

SMHUPS(!!!) Lot for $900 or individually as below

1) Viewpoint $400. Overall very good condition, and comes with a box protector. Only condition issue is slight wear on the top edges of the insert.

2) Last Resort $300. Excellent condition.

3) Alpha Mission II $125.

4) Ghost Pilots $125.

Sports AES games: available as a lot for $350 or individually as below

1) Baseball Stars Professional $90

2) Top Player’s Golf $60- manual is a photocopy, plastic outer box and tray not fully intact.

4) Super Sidekicks 2 $120

Fatal Fury 1 and 2 lot: $175 for both or $75 for Fatal Fury and $115 for Fatal Fury 2. Both are former rentals with Game Dude stickers on the cart side. Fatal Fury 2 also includes a registration card in Japanese that was never filled out. Neat bit of history there.

PIC_0738.jpg

Samurai Shodown 1 and 2 lot: $200 for both, or $50 for SamSho 1 and $175 for SamSho2. SamSho1 is in very good shape, with one glaring exception: the cartridge sticker is missing. Hence, the low price for that one. EDIT SAM SHO II ON HOLD

PIC_0747.jpg

King of the Monsters 1 and 2 lot: $300 for both, or $150 for KotM 1 and $175 for KotM 2. KotM 2 has some wear on the top edges of the insert.

Lot of 5 NOS titles: $350. These are all new, were only once played, for testing purposes. They were bought direct from a wholesaler. Consists of Magician Lord ($100 separate), Sengoku ($125 separate), Riding Hero, The Super Spy, and Blue’s Journey ($65 each if separate). Note: these were stored away for many years- condition is not mint, but still very good. They are new, though.

Metal Slug 1 conversion. $300. US style artwork and sticker. There’s no cheaper way to play this on an AES, regrettably.

PIC_0677.jpg

Cyber Lip $200. Manual is slightly worn.

PIC_0759.jpg

Burning Fight $250. Also includes the original store purchase receipt from Software, Etc.

PIC_0765.jpg

PIC_0762.jpg

NAM 1975 $95. Has the black marker censorship.

Crossed Swords $150

Added a Jaguar Skunkboard, Rev 3 (I believe). This is a very recent purchase, from fellow AA'er Elerach. I missed out on the recent production waves of these, and bought one from him. Great item, but it just isn't for me- too limited in function. I'm also way too leery of bare boards. I'll keep waiting for a full Jag SD/multicart. It does work perfectly, and comes with the GOATstore box and manual. It's for sale at exactly what I paid for it- $250 plus shipping. It's on Ebay too, but a a much higher price- I greatly prefer to sell here to the community. Pics: EDIT- SOLD!!!

Damn I wouldn't sell those neo geo games if I had them. They are too expensive but I would like them especially those shmups.

I've had them a while now, and there is a reluctance to part with them. And yet, they're too valuable to really play, and I've always wanted a real cab, or at least an AES multicart. The NeoStore has them in stock, at long last...

Bump, to indicate price reductions. The AES titles are off Ebay too, for now- way too many shady idiots trying to have me text them or even meet in person, lowballing leeches and wannabe flippers trying to make side deals, bad grammar, and even one clown buying the Neo Geo lot and then trying to go back on it. It is almost as if something about large lots of quality games brings out the worst elements of the retro-gaming community on Ebay.

Update- the Skunk has been sold, and was promptly relisted on Ebay here:

by kevincal, aka JaGamer here on AA. There's just something crass and unseemly about buying stuff on a forum and immediately trying to flip it on Ebay. I would not have sold it to him had I known that would be the result, and it makes me cautious about selling the AES games- for I know they too could be somebody's "flip".
