Clint Thompson
So after many years of sitting on this disc of gameplay footage that Gatzee sent me forever ago (12 years or so), I could ever only get a few minutes out of it here and there as of recently. I've finally had the disc professionally resurfaced and brute force copied over to my system and have posted the video in its entirety on the Jaguar Facebook page, which can be viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/AtariJaguar64/videos/1275656109128368/ It's almost an hour long. Sorry if you don't like Facebook. Enjoy!
+save2600
This ever going to be released? I forget about games like this until you see a video of it pop up every couple of years. Followed by a ton of people that all vow to purchase a copy, then nothing for another few years until the next video shows. BTW: I knew I was having more than just deja-vu... here's a link to a thread you started back in 2011. Video on LiveWire! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/181225-livewire-video-finally-here/?hl=%20livewire ...and before that, they've been talking about it since 2003: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/26797-live-wire/?hl=%20livewire http://atariage.com/forums/topic/26797-live-wire/?hl=+livewire http://atariage.com/forums/topic/60535-livewire/?hl=%2Blivewire&do=findComment&comment=741734 http://atariage.com/forums/topic/108545-unreleasedunfinished-games/?hl=%2Blivewire&do=findComment&comment=1314387

+CyranoJ
Why on earth would you pay for VHS low quality video of this to be repaired when there is a nice, clean, crisp recording of it available here? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/235253-lost-jaguar-game-info-from-douglas-little/?do=findComment&comment=3181879

The old threads posted above make it sound like the game was gone for good.
evilevoix
Who has this game and why can't we play it? It looks great!
Willard
The build Clint posted may not be of the same one that DML is known to have. So It's nice for comparison if you're somebody who's interested in the game. Clint's video is of a build that Carl bought on flashcart but was DOA. +CyranoJ
Probably not... As per the Soul Star thread... you all know exactly who to blame for this.
+LS650
Very unfortunate. Livewire looks like it could be a great game, but I think it's unlikely that most of us will ever get to experience it.
+save2600
^ right on. Sad how that's often the case with this system.

Not a big deal either way and for those who like to see the variety or differences, it's worth it.
omf
the website says: Notes: Some of my prebuilt COF files do work to some extent in VirtualJaguar 2.1.0, but not everything works properly. A few just show a black screen. Audio is quite broken. I'll make these tests available soon, in case it helps with emulator bug fixes etc. When I get some time I will try to build the latest version (a test level with hand-placed AIs) as a COF to see if it is worth uploading. however that message has been there for ever and nothing is available i have played a build at ejagfest, its not bad, shame its only one level

Oh I don't know, dml is a good chap from all accounts, he was kind enough to allow us to take some builds of the game to ejagfest. They turned out to be older than the ones in Gaz's video, but that doesn't mean the other stuff is lost forever. Maybe one day he'll return to Jaguar stuff when he's fully wrung every last possibility out of the Falcon, or failing that there's the possibility of putting out what he can find in some way as he hinted he might. There's some really nice tech in it, I think GGN said he'd seen a couple of tech tests that were stunning.
skip
I really hope this sees the light of day in some form or other. That's some of the best sounding and best looking pseudo3d but 2d stuff I've heard / seen from the Jaguar.
