Eric7100 #108 Posted April 24, 2016 5 or 6 games is not all at once. You said for the remainder of 2016. Let's take David as an example. When did he release 5 or 6 games in the same year? I'm waiting for an answer. David knew how to space things out. Maybe you should take some lessons from him.
Eric7100 #109 Posted April 24, 2016 I guess I should not tell you about my master release plans of 40 Intv games? In all seriousness, all you are accomplishing is taking away the opportunity for some Intellivision homebrew collectors to NO LONGER be able to own every Intellivision homebrew release. Forget the fact that, up until this point, with all previous homebrew publishers, we were able to afford such a hobby, and claim to be proud owners of every Intellivision homebrew that was put for sale. Because every single one of those publishers released their homebrews at a slower calendar pace. Forget all of that. Just keep releasing games, and be solely responsible for turning the status of "own every Intellivision homebrew" to "no longer being financially able to own every Intellivision homebrew" among some of your Intellivision homebrew collector purists. You, and you alone, are responsible for creating the concept of some of us having to pick and choose, instead of owning them all, like we could do, before you arrived on the scene. Be proud of yourself for breaking the hearts of those of us who didn't want to pick and choose, and instead wanted to own every Intellivision homebrew game, but no longer can. Eric7100 #117 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Rev, maybe you should do what David did with Deep Pockets. Every 10 games you release or so, you offer one game FOR FREE to your loyal customers. And for anyone who doesn't "like" this, there's something wrong with you. Edited April 24, 2016 by Eric7100
Eric7100 #118 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Obviously, David was a bad example. But that was one year only... and it was an exception, not the norm. Stonix... Minehunter... SG&R... now THAT was a good release schedule. We should be going back to those kinds of days, in terms of release pace, so that everyone who wants to own every homebrew can afford to do so, and picking-and-choosing wouldn't have to become a thing thanks to Rev. +Lathe26 #119 Posted April 24, 2016 5 or 6 games is not all at once. I guess I should not tell you about my master release plans of 40 Intv games? Please not all at once. Spread them out over 5 or 6 days. The painful anticipation induced by releasing any slower than that would be evil.

+cmart604 #123 Posted April 24, 2016 I figured you would ignore my suggestion about the free game thing. Eric, you realize of course that you have the option of releasing Inty games yourself and you could employ the "get every 10th game free" approach as well. I'd happily buy them from you. That said, of course Rev could do this and it would make financial sense if he increased the price of the nine you paid for by 11% .

Actually, he's not alone. This is solely a CollectorVision release. As well, since you are rehashing your previous pointless whining, you might as well blame all the programmers, without whom there wouldn't be the upcoming releases of games, most of which are newly programmed. PS, you are really going to hate October...

Why, because that is what David did? Increasing the price of the others negates the whole point of the 10th one being a gift.
