+cmart604 #126 Posted April 24, 2016 Why, because that is what David did? Increasing the price of the others negates the whole point of the 10th one being a gift. You're missing the point. No one owes us anything, least of all on our time frame and on our respective budgets. I'm just thankful that there are people like David and Carl and Rev and Willy and Joe and Toby/JF and Groovy and Tarzilla and Oscar and dZ and Freewheel and everyone else that is programming and producing games for our beloved system in 2016. It's nuts that there are tons of games being made for a system that many of us first played as kids. Maybe instead of bemoaning the fact that games aren't being released the way you want, just be happy that they're being released at all. I, for one, think it's fantastic that I get to show my son new releases for the Inty and he's as happy to see and play them as he is a new game for his Wii U or PS4. YMMV.
+Special Teams #127 Posted April 24, 2016 Deep Pockets was never for sale. BS. I wrote David a check for this game (plus a few others). Get your facts straight.

JasonlikesINTV #130 Posted April 24, 2016 BS. I wrote David a check for this game (plus a few others). Get your facts straight. Deep Pockets was originally a gift, but David held back some copies which he later sold, so technically it was for sale for a brief time.
+cmart604 #131 Posted April 24, 2016 Lol. That is flat out creative.
Eric7100 #132 Posted April 24, 2016 Actually, he's not alone. This is solely a CollectorVision release. Actually, I wasn't even referring to the CollectorVision release. Their pace (for Intellivision games) is fine.
Eric7100 #133 Posted April 24, 2016 You're missing the point. No one owes us anything... It was just a suggestion on how Rev might redeem himself for causing the heartache that I described in a previous post.
Eric7100 #134 Posted April 24, 2016 BS. I wrote David a check for this game (plus a few others). Get your facts straight. That just means that you weren't a loyal, consistent customer who purchased all of his games. Or you would've gotten it for free.
+5-11under #135 Posted April 24, 2016 It was just a suggestion on how Rev might redeem himself for causing the heartache that I described in a previous post. If you just buy one of each release instead of two, you might be able to afford 20 releases in a year, instead of 10. /Sorry, just trying to be logical. I probably will have to resort to this. But again, TO beat a dead horse, I wouldn't have to resort to this if Rev (and others) had kept things as they were. So you admit you were wrong when you said "Deep Pockets was never for sale."
Rev #138 Posted April 24, 2016 Eric has deep pockets cause he buys 2 copies of everything. Plus treats his dogs better than he treats humans.

Just making sure the horse is dead... things are the same as before: people release games whenever they feel like it.

Maybe people than program the PCB's should slow down, they are part of the problem also.

Eric7100 #144 Posted April 24, 2016 So you admit you were wrong when you said "Deep Pockets was never for sale." Nope. I admit that I had forgotten about David's non-loyal, non-routine customers.

Eric7100 #146 Posted April 24, 2016 Just making sure the horse is dead... things are the same as before: people release games whenever they feel like it. "Whenever they feel like it" sounds so selfish of them. Selfishness is not a virtue. And it's not the same as before, by the way. The pace "before" was much slower, to allow those who wanted a full homebrew collection to have one.
Eric7100 #147 Posted April 24, 2016 Eric has deep pockets cause he buys 2 copies of everything. Again, this is a practice that YOU are solely responsible for ending for me, Rev. Thank you.
Eric7100 #148 Posted April 24, 2016 Plus treats his dogs better than he treats humans. Dogs deserve to be treated better. They don't do things like rape people's wallets and cause their "must-have-every-homebrew" collection to be discontinued.
Eric7100 #149 Posted April 24, 2016 Maybe people than program the PCB's should slow down, they are part of the problem also. Of course they are. But who is telling them to program so fast? Certainly not me, nor anybody else who is watching their wallet.
