I'm loving streamed O2 games on my Chromebook

The O2 was never a big hit, but it does have a few great games.

Looking at the games from that link, I imagine PT Barnum Acrobats, Attack of the Timelord, Pick Axe Pete, UFO!, Robot City and the Munchkin games would still be fun. For a while anyway!

Wouldn't mind seeing K.C.'s Krazy Chase ported to one of the Atari consoles. :)

It would be great to see any of those again in another format. I wish Pick Axe Pete would get a modern indie remake.

Ted Szczypiorski (Tedfoorlery) was working on PICK AXE PETE 2... a sequel...

it is unfinished however...

Ted programmed 3 homebrew games for the O2:

Type Game Year Publisher
[Console] Odyssey² Game Mr. Roboto! 2006 Packrat Video Games
[Console] Odyssey² Game Planet Lander! 2004 Packrat Video Games
[Console] Odyssey² Game Puzzle Piece Panic! 2007 Packrat Video Games
Rather than wish for these games to be ported to other systems, have you considered purchasing an actual O2 system?

One nice aspect of the O2 is that because it has so little recognition, you can pick one up cheaply. I bought a complete unboxed system in great shape with 10 common games for about $30.

There's also a multicart for cheap that has all commercial releases and some homebrew.

Oh, I've considered it ...and dismissed the thought. I wouldn't get enough enjoyment out of it to justify the extra clutter. I liked the system BITD but am content with emulation today.

I'm the proud owner of an o2 and a handful of games just because of how much fun I had playing in the archive. My aunt had one growing up but I didn't do a whole lot of gaming on it.. now that's going to change! But yeah, it's introduced a heck of a lot of clutter.
