madhatter667 #2 Posted April 25, 2016 It's out there, in most ROM sets. Pretty fun, but Holy Diver isn't the easiest of games.
high voltage #3 Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) So the NES is not swamped with awful games? Of course it is. Console in a TV, well Nintendo wasn't it, Atari VCS/Sanyo 1983 Edited April 25, 2016 by high voltage
mbd30 #4 Posted April 26, 2016 Simon's Quest is not the first game with multiple endings. Metroid has multiple endings.
theoakwoody #5 Posted April 27, 2016 Or Zelda as it preceded Metroid by a few months. Kind of cheap as its only a wording difference but a whole new quest was pretty sweet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seob #6 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) So the NES is not swamped with awful games? Of course it is. Console in a TV, well Nintendo wasn't it, Atari VCS/Sanyo 1983 Not even Atari/Sanyo was first. I also guess that neither Magnavox is, but they had the model 4305 in 1976 that had pong build in. Edited April 27, 2016 by Seob
Osgeld #7 Posted April 27, 2016 NES tends to get extra credits mainly from nes fans not knowing any better... Or bothering to look anything up
madhatter667 #8 Posted April 27, 2016 But, that's not to say that the NES isn't a great system. The NES/FC is one of my favorites. When I had to shrink the collection, keeping it was never in question. Sure, it's got its share of bum titles (all systems do), but it's got some really good ones too. The NES wasn't first for plenty of things,, but I feel it did most of it fairly well.
Trinity #9 Posted April 29, 2016 The NES works with AC and DC power supply 9 volt input? Is that right? How does that work?
Osgeld #10 Posted April 29, 2016 There's a bridge rectifier inside the system to convert AC to DC Side effect of that is you can put DC on a bridge rectifier in any polarity and it comes out right on the other side
