fiddlepaddle #1 Posted April 29, 2016 I've been playing Steamroller for Colecovision a lot lately. It's a simple game, and you have to watch multiple parts of the screen all the time for best results. I liked that fact that games were taking me ten to fifteen minutes. Lately, though, I've gotten to levels in the 20's, where action is fast enough to be challenging for me, but levels 1-15 or so are getting boring and it's removing the fun because I have to trudge through the lower levels every time (my pizza or soup is finished cooking before I finish the game). Does anyone know of a way to skip levels? or set a higher difficulty maybe? Any other enthusiasts? http://imgur.com/WIUZ3tv

Save level 15 and start form there.
fiddlepaddle #3 Posted December 1, 2016 Obviously that would do it, but I prefer real hardware,
gladders #4 Posted December 1, 2016 How about modding the ROM to increase the early level difficulty?
NIAD #5 Posted December 2, 2016 How about modding the ROM to increase the early level difficulty?Easier said than done. You'd really have to know your stuff if you went the Hex Editor route, but probably would have to disassemble the rom code... which also means you really need to know your stuff.
