576XE
Today I get my postage safely and promptly! I'm lucky! Thank you Dropcheck. EZ P.S. Is there something like manual? Anyway it's needed for reflashing a new versions of BIOS. etc. I only have deal with IDEPlus 2.0 with SDX and it has dozens of tune-ups. I never had real SDX at all... and slightly lost. ... flashjazzcat
And which driver do I need to use instead of JIFFy.SYS? ULTIME.SYS, AFAIK.
+sm3
I have one of these as well, but haven't played with it until now. Do we update the spartados-pcb with the UFlash application? http://atari8.co.uk/uflash/ Also, do we use the SDXImager for config.sys? It's been a while, but I recall having to build the spartadosx image with this tool for use on the Atarimax cartridge.
flashjazzcat
I didn't amend UFlash to explicitly detect the Super SpartaDOS cart yet, but in the meantime I believe it will be detected as a SIDE2 and flashable as same. You'll need to edit the SIDE2 SDX ROM using the SDX Imager, yes. You can safely remove SIDE.SYS (if present) and any references to it in CONFIG.SYS. 576XE
Hi, Friends! Hi FJC! At first, many thanks for early reply. Report. ULTIME.SYS works and I even tried SSDX with Ctirad's RAM 320XE/576. All work!!! Such a good thing! Now need to read mans.
576XE
My previous post was too Rainbow-Like... When I diskonnected PC I meet some problem... Do someone has an instruction for proper using of RTC clock? device->config->autoexec... etc. SDX447 mans says nothing about ULTIME. ULTIME don't shows any error. But DATE gives 25-01-06 and TIME gives 20:17:03 What to do and how to be? I beleive that all works as I see something like this on my IDEPlus 2.0 Thus What to do and how to be? drac030
On Supercart, add to the config.sys: DEVICE ULTIME On IDE+, add to the config.sys: DEVICE IDEPTIME in both cases, remove DEVICE JIFFY.
576XE
Konrad, you know of course that I did it at first. These battaries hold time only one working session. Lenore's battery I installed only 3-4 days ago... Every next day I see "Groundhog Day". Yes I'm not a programmer and I don't need to hold data in some acceptable manner, but... 576XE
Is there any news about SDX 4.48?
576XE
Mille Pardons, Sirs!!! I have included the string about DEVICE ULTIME in CONFIG.SYS, but I have not incorporated ULTIME.SYS in CAR: Sorry, sorry and SORRY! Next time I'll check IDEPTIME.SYS in CAR: Anyway I have not instructions how to update the SSDX. Too low info. Lenore writes that its like Ultimate 1Mb internally... FJC writes two versions of memory configurations of Ultimate... and says that it's looks like side2 in flashing soft... How to flash the beast? I'm too far away from anyone and I'm afraid to brick THE Idea by bricking device... Thank you Konrad, thank you John! You are really drivers to our steps! EZ When the new version comes out you should chose to dl the one for the SIDE2 HDD. You should be able to use UFLASH to upgrade. Then remove SIDE.sys from CAR so that you won't get the error about not finding SIDE2.sys. TIME and DATE are not only the commands to display but also to set. Check also that the positive side of the battery is showing to you as you look at the battery. TD ON will display a banner at the top of the screen with the current time and date Edited June 23, 2016 by Dropcheck

576XE
Hello Friends! Really I'm in searching some common development environment for different Programming Languages and SpartaDOS X 4.XX is a good choice for base work. Due to big differenses in path searching in almost any interpreter or compiler it's not so simple as I thought earlier. DOSes can't force programms to change their's way of thinking, libraries may be hardcoded or not, etc. Even when all bad cases eliminated, Linker can search path in it's manner on D1:. I mean that the environment I created for testing SuperSDX Cart was NOT the same as I used in my investigations and a Bad! Bad! Bad! JIFFY.SYS kills all my happyness. When I found it in Every disk image of Langs and replace it's records in CONFIG.SYS by ULTIME.SYS, the earlier above mentioned "rainbow" is Just above me! My report: - ALL Dropcheck's hardwork: 1. Works perfectly! 2. ULTIME.SYS is in a CAR: device! Only one question: Is it possible to change battery/Accu in IdePlus 2.0. It seems that it's welded by resistance welding tightly. Bye!
