Nintendo and Vans are releasing some 8-bit sneakers

There's a lot of amazing going on right here:

 

1) Vans is still around, meaning somebody must still wear canvas shoes

2) instead of targeting young customers, they've decided to target old farts

I'm not sure about #2

 

It seems they have target both groups.

My Donkey Kong shoes and T-shirt arrived a few days ago. They're just as awesome as I thought they would be!

I'm having a bit of an issue with the fit of my sneakers...gonna use the old 'hot blow dryer' trick to loosen it up. A bit pinchy!...but didn't want to go up a half size because then they're overall too loose.

 

I wished they made the DK in the high top style...but I'm happy with my controller ones. The soles are the best, lol.

 

The DK hawaiian shirt is cool as well!

No I didn't. Wasn't even aware that there was a bonus sticker pack! Maybe it's because I ordered my stuff from Tillys.

Yeah, apparently they were only on the release day. I didn't know either, but the guys at the store put one pack aside for me. Can you tip shoe salesman?

 

I'll upload a pic, they're kinda neat. Not really my thing, that is, until I get a period appropriate jean jacket or something
