SPIKER-for sale....?

Recommended Posts

WOW is that the price of the market?

I understand that the last one one ebay was 1800 but that because it was the only spiker this year

No idea, just what I would let it go for.......

dang, all I need is the box. I think a *very* nice CIB sold on eBay for $1800-ish recently, which was quite a spot higher than the previous few -- but IIRC it was *very* nice.

Didn't someone just find a case of it and let it slip accidentally?

1.800 was the price for a MINT condition on ebay. PayPal and Ebay-fees made about 200 if I am not wrong, so in fact the seller got 1600. Of course its just fair and legit to ask for 2.000 in a collectors board, where no fees are taken

There is a recent post in another thread that mentions that this hobby costs an average of $2 per day, so would you accept daily payments of $2 for the next 1000 days?

Wow... you have another one? I thought the one you sold me years ago was your only copy.

No, I bought a CIB and then sold you my loose copy.....

But you were nice enough to include a manual and a repro box.

So now you don't want a Spiker at all?

$2 a day is cheaper than someone getting Starbucks every day

Sounded like not being a matter of "want", but "if someone's willing to pay X, sure, I'll sell it"

But then you won't have a complete collection.

I don't have a complete collection. I am sure many others don't as well.

No one does. I know I don't. That's the fun of it though, looking for that next piece of the puzzle. Selling off your dupes doesn't lessen your collection, but it might give you some breathing room and remove some stress.

None of you have complete collections, because I've already released 5 homebrews that are extremely limited. And I've made sure that they only go to different people, thereby preventing anyone from ever completing a collection.

Muahahahaha.

The funny part is: That would actually work and if its a CiB release you could easily fetch up couble of hundreds of $ for each homebrew. If someone paid 250$ for that DK thing, a one of a kind homebrew may brings above 1k, who knows where the limit is? :ponder:

There you go and problem solved. No one ever needs to stress over this ever again and we all have a "happy ending."
