sparkdrummer #1 Posted May 13, 2016 Just got back from doing a little yard selling and bought an Odyssey 2 system for $8. It has the Voice and 18 cartridges - no power supply but I had a 9v a/c that works. I just tested it (all items REAL dirty) and everything seems to work. better than half of the carts have labels missing and on a few of the games I could not figure out what the title might be. Is there a site that shows all the screen shots of the games so I know what the mystery cart titles might be? What about a multicart? I bought it with the intention to sell, but now I'm thinking I might keep it - I already have 4 Astrocades (3 work) and 2 Fairchild Channel F's, so why not keep another funky game console. If I perform the composite out and Atari joystick mods does that hurt the value of the machine. How the hell do you get the voice to talk? Any tips on this system? Seob #2 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) SWEET deal. Have fun. There are a few options for rewritable cartridges like: The c7030 by Rene7400 Then there is the Mateos rewritable cartridge. the multicart to get is the c7060 by Rene7400, but i don't know if it is still in production. Screenshots can be found on sites like www.videopac.nl where you can find info on the multicart and new releases. A other good site on the odyssey2 would be www.the-nextlevel.com/odyssey2/ Edited May 13, 2016 by Seob
+atari2600land #3 Posted May 13, 2016 The deal on the Voice is that it only works with the later Odyssey 2 titles, so not all of them, actually more than 90% or so, don't have the Voice feature built in. A popular game that does have the Voice feature would be K.C.'s Krazy Chase. Another one is Attack of the Time Lord.

SSG #6 Posted June 5, 2016 That is a stellar price on a O2
ScottyDont00 #7 Posted June 6, 2016 Sweet deal on the O2 system. I have mine composite modded and had the controller ports moved to the front with genesis/Atari ports. I really think that's a big improvement on both counts if ever decide to resell it. Welcome to the O2 world and I hope you stick around!
sparkdrummer #8 Posted June 6, 2016 I am a TI-99/4A fanatic at heart, but I am intrigued by the voice, because it has speech like my ti. I have ordered a copy of type and tell so I can play a bit more. And yes, I'll be seeing how the O2 does with cuss words.

It will sound like Uncle Jimbo's friend Ned from South Park, but as long as you spell things phonetically, you're golden.
