Atari 8-bit Ads Blog

As some of you already know, I started writing a blog about ads related to the Atari 8-bit home computers. Basically I want to create an index of print ads, as well as when and where they were published. It also give me a chance to flip through old magazines, research and write a little about our favorite hobby and to enjoy the art and content of the ads.

Cool! I don't recall ever seeing that ad, but that would've been before I got my first Atari computer so it probably slipped under my personal radar.

 

Somewhere along the way about 15 years ago I ended up with a copy of the AtariGraphics cartridge but the lot didn't include a light pen to use it with. Someday I ought to buy or build one.

Technically, it wasn't an ad. I just forced it a little to fit my narrative. Before anyone starts claiming "FAKE NEWS", the other way to look at it, is that everything in The Atari Connection magazine is an Atari ad!
