ColecoVision / ADAM Modding

I was looking at the story behind the sad demise of the ADAM computer today.

 

It's seems that it's not only the ColecoVision that's been "modded" over the years. I was particularly interested in this adaption: Coleco ADAM with VGA output

I have spoken to the seller of this item ('Glenn') previously about CV "mods", however he has informed me that he "doesn't offer upgrade services".

 

Is there anyone else that's tackled "modding" an ADAM like this?

This can be achieved using the F18A VGA mod for the ADAM designed and sold by Matthew over at the codehackcreate website: http://codehackcreate.com/store#!/F18A-V1-7-Video-Board/p/14022176/category=0. This is a DIY mod but there are a few here on AA who may do it for you for a fee.

I found a guy on ebay that does the composite mod on the CV for just $55. He said that he changes all the capacitors as well in that fee. Im not sure how much i would trust a person on ebay being that i was ripped off once on ebay when i sent my gamegear to someone and never saw it again.

I can do this mod for the colecovision if interested. If you can't find anyone that will do it for you, I can look at doing it for you for the ADAM.

I have two Adam Game Consoles.

One has intermittent composite video disturbance so I use the RF for that one (which is fine).

Would be interested in an Adam console mod.
