Getting a new track-ball (or fixing one)

Can anyone direct me to a place where I can buy a trak-ball controller for the 5200? Or point me to someone with the technical know-how to fix an old one?

 

Best Electronics used to have them but they're out, and I guess the guy that did repairs has retired.

Amazon/eBay/craigslist are good starting points. I got one that kinda worked at a flea market and then found a broken one on craigslist that I used for parts. With a few simple repairs, I was good to go!

 

Good luck! They are very cool to own. It's a pity more games aren't trakball friendly on the 5200.

There are a few CIB listings on ebay. They range from $50 to $75 with shipping. If it's in good working order it's well worth the price.
