I can tell you the build quality of JediMatt42's device is a hell of a lot better than my NanoPEB is for starters. To me, that speaks volumes in itself! While it's all imaginary at this point, I believe implementation, which can only be guessed at, would be much improved as well. If I had the programming abilities, I'd make it a DSK1 & HD type arrangement. Drag and drop from the PC would be nice as well. Now that the NanoPEB & CF7 are no longer being manufactured, the time does seem right. I also like this approach because the user base can be built up now, giving people immediate enjoyment, while the opportunity is there to upgrade later. Also the 'gamer only' types might get by with only the 32K and a FlashROM 99, this is not forcing them to buy anything they don't want. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was having some issues determinating what runs on it and what doesn't so this thread was very helpful. Will the collection of bins be updated soon? I see the last modified date was back in july. Thanks! This thread is updated as new binary images come available. Many of us convert existing EA5 and Binaries to run with the FR99 board. Which program (if any) would you guys like to see in that section? I sure there is a "BEST VERSION" out there with available PDF documentation that we could plug in for all to enjoy. I see the AA and AB files but how would you convert the other files on DiSK?. I think the LOAD program would nee to be converted. Looks like it's a basic program loading ea5 programs.
